Seminar “Economic analysis in water management”
On 8-9 May 2009 representative of NILU Polska taken part in seminar „Economic analysis in water management” on Cracow University of Economics. Seminar was organised by Section of Economics of Water in Polish Association of Environmental and Resource Economists. Presentation of results of works from economics of water using and protection provided in last years was goal of seminar.
On seminar dr Damian Panasiuk presented lecture „Cost-benefit analysis of water reservoirs”. Ecological taxes in water management, methodes to assessment of efficiency of water supply and sewage disposal projects in Poland co-financed from international sources, impact of piped water consumption decrease on water prices and analysis of industry water absorption by input-output analysis were other subjects of seminar.
