Sequential Air Sampler for PM10

The EK Sequential Air Sampler collects aerosols and gas in ambient air in a filter pack consisting of an aerosol prefilter and one or more impregnated filters mounted in a NILU Filter Holder. By adjusting the pump to 10 l/min and attaching an impactor in front of the filter pack, the EK can sample PM10 particles.

A pump draws air through the filters. The EK Sequential Air Sampler has two parallel sampling lines, activated sequentially. The start/stop of each sampling line is set with the timer. A solenoid valve switches from one line to the other at the preset time. The sampled air volume is registrated on a volume counter connected to a dry gas meter. The sampler must be installed indoors in a temperated environment.
