Summary

In project NILU Polska prepared database on costs of heavy metals reduction measures in industry. Data for measures used in energy sector, metallurgy of iron and non-ferrous metals, cement production, chlorine production (mercury cell plants) and waste incineration were collected.

Other tasks were review of EU directives and international conventions concerning the heavy metals emission reduction and comparison of available macro-economic models and feasibility study for analysis of effects of heavy metals reduction strategies.
